Anyway, back to our house... We are still searching and considering on the wet and dry kitchen. Before we decide, we need a temporary kitchen sink to wash our utensils. Hence, we had to continue our search.
I planned to make a tabletop out of wood but came across this writing desk at AEON for RM169.00. (Forgot to take pics before sawing)
The tabletop of tge desk is Madeira of chipboard. Does not look like it will withstand water abuse. In order to make it more resistance to water, I sprayed 2 layers of white paint and 2 layers of clear varnish over it.
I fastened the top to the legs and drop the sink in.
Oh, forgot to add that I had to drill a hole in the sink to fix the water faucet.
Next is to fill in the piping.
The structure was a little short for me, so I added 4 flower pots to raise it up. Coyld not find any re-enforced hose around the house to fix to the faucet, therefore, I used a temporary hose to connect the system up.
I put the system to test and ran it for 5minutes. Everything seems to be running fine.
We had a burst hose the next day. The hose could not take the pressure. Headed out to Tesco and bought a toilet hose for RM8.00. Replaced the hose and this is what it looks like now:
That's all for now.
