Today, Telecom Malaysia (TM) came to install and connect the Internet modem.
The good news is that developer had already ran the optic is open. Which means that the telephone line could not make or receive calls. We have to connect the phone to the master room upstairs in order to use the phone.

One week after our installation, and the network is down. Called up TM and made an appointment for technician to come and check the connection.

Today, service technician came to check the line and connection. He suspected the connectors were not installed properlly, hence, changed all the connectors. Including the ones at the distribution box outside our house.
Still, there were no signal coming into the optical modem. He used a device to measure the signal, and it was way too low. Therefore, he suspects the connection between the distribution box and the house is bad.
There was nothing else he could do and had to head back to check with his supervisor.

Called the service tech about the status of our bad connection. According to his supervisor, the connection outside is managed by the developer. Hence, I had to make a defect report with the developer, and I did so. Was given an appointment for the following Monday.

The developer site supervisor came to find out about the defects on the internal phone line problem and the external optic connection problem. He then arranged for the relevant contractor to come and rectify the problem on the next day.

The internal wiring contractor came but could not do anything as the external wiring problem needs to be fixed first. Hence, another appointment with the external wiring contractor was arrange the following Tuesday.

Fortunately, this time round, the TM technician and contractor came together to rectify the problem. It was found that the external optic fiber was connected to a wrong port. Thank God, we have our internet back. The next thing will be to get the internal phone line fixed.
